Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wickford
Salary Scale: £75-£100
Contract Type: Full-time Responsibilities: - As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans.
- As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support students effectively.
- Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will support the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Qualifications and Skills: - Relevant qualifications or training in special education or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
- Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
