Job description
We are looking for Class 2 drivers who have experience in skip and roll on roll off operations to cover both Lincolnshire and Yorkshire areas. The role will involve collecting waste from both commercial and domestic properties across our operating areas in a variety of different container types. While Drivers with waste industry experience would be preferred, full training will be given to successful applicants.
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be expected to:
- To undertake the safe, secure, and efficient movement of materials and equipment required for the business.
- Perform deliveries and collections to and from the customer sites, and other locations as required.
- Check equipment is loaded/unloaded in a safe manner.
- Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limited.
- Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle.
- Check paperwork to that delivery/collection loads are correct.
- Visually inspect equipment being loaded and unloaded.
What hours will I be required to work :
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday which occasion Saturdays. The start time will be between 4:00am – 6:00am
How much will I be paid?You will be paid £12.33ph.
Experience and Qualifications: - Skip experience is desirable.
- RoRo experience is desirable.
- Hold a full driving licence valid in the UK with C+E entitlement.
- No more than 6 points on Licence
- Hold a CPC & Digital Taco Card
