Your new role
This company is recruiting an experienced administrator to join their teaching faculty. The role will involve:
- Proactive and effective planning.
- Assisting and ensuring all internal and external records are kept accurate and up to date, including Single Central Records across regions, DfE register, Tracker of Trainees, Mentor attendance, and Distribution Groups.
- Ensuring all relevant stakeholders have appropriate access to MS Teams Tiles, EdPuzzle, Apprenticeship One-File and all other external portals/systems.
- Assisting with registering all trainees on Student Finance, ensuring applications are accurate and updated with any new applications, changes, deferrals, and withdrawals.
- Ensuring accurate records and smooth administration of the PGCE programme.
- Draft and post programme updates for trainees and colleagues on Microsoft Teams.
- Setting up and preparing for key events including: drafting of materials, printing, venue booking etc.
- Exceptional execution of Initial Teacher Education (ITE).
- Reporting to the ITE faculty coordinator alongside the senior management team.
- To support the Regional Principal, Head of ITE and Senior Programme Manager with all administration efforts around the School Direct and Assessment Only programmes.
- Supporting clients in four regions and completing daily administrative duties.
- To provide diary management and PA support as required.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- To be within commuting distance of Blackburn.
- Exceptional administration skills.
- Experience in education, either school, training provider, further education or higher education.
- A forward-thinking attitude with an excellent work ethic.
- The ability to occasionally travel for meetings.
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages, including search engines and online databases.
- The ability to co-ordinate key events or programmes.
What you\'ll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary between £24,000-£26,000 with 27 days\' holiday per year. They offer hybrid work, which will depend on business needs and will be agreed with management. They also offer flexible working hours, which will be agreed with your manager. In addition, they offer a local government pension scheme.
