This best-in-class construction organisation is growing its procurement function to facilitate effective delivery across a range of high-profile procurement projects and is therefore seeking a passionate buyer to join the team. Within this position you will gain strategic exposure across a generalist range of indirect procurement categories including professional services procurement, IT procurement and FM procurement, thus providing diverse exposure.

You will be working within an excellent employee-centric and collaborative working environment where you'll gain continuous development from senior stakeholders, including daily interaction with the Head of Procurement, as well as having a clear pathway for future progression.

Indirect Procurement Buyer, responsibilities…

• Support creation and implementation of effective procurement strategy across the end-to-end indirect procurement function across a generalist range of procurement categories
• Provide essential support across the end-to-end contract management process to ensure a seamless experience from early business requirement to signature and post contract management
• Undertake a range of day-to-day procurement activities, from stakeholder relationship management and tender management to negotiation and supplier management

Indirect Procurement Buyer, requirements…

• Exposure across the end-to-end procurement function, in relation to either indirect procurement (professional services procurement, IT procurement, FM procurement, HR procurement, logistics procurement) or direct procurement (raw materials procurement, commodity procurement etc.)
• Skills surrounding contract management and negotiation
• A self-starter who can work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a team
