Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, normal working hours
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 5-6 months

This position reports directly to the Head of Local Authority Housing, which is part of the Housing Neighbourhood & Building Services directorate. PCC is a Registered Housing Provider, and similar to all other Registered providers, whether Local Authorities, Housing Associations or ALMO's.
The Leasehold Services Team provide Housing Management to its 2000 Leaseholders, whether they purchased via the Right to Buy legislation, Shared Ownership Sales or Outright Sale.
Key Responsibilities:
The Leasehold Services Manager is responsible for the day to day delivery of Housing Management Services, delivered by a team of 5 Leasehold Services Officers.
Responsible for ensuring that the team are kept up to date with changes to legislation, case law, and best practice
Collection of Service Charges.
Management of ASB.
Manage applications for Lease Extensions.
Manager applications for Collective Enfranchisement.
Manage applications for Staircasing and sub-letting for Shared Owners.
Supporting the Leasehold Accounts Manager and Leasehold Administration & RTB Manager in meeting the legislative timetable for charging leaseholders.

Possess a full driving licence (and ideally have access to own vehicle).
Qualifications:
Relevant degree.
Skills & Experience.
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Have proven skills and experience of Managing Leasehold stock, including RTB, Shared Ownership and Outright Sales.
Have proven skills and experience of Section 20 Consultation.
Have proven skills and experience of Shared Ownership Management including Staircasing.
Have proven skills and experience of reading, interpreting and explaining Leases.
Have proven skills and experience of managing staff.
Have proven skills and experience of leaseholder account management from a front-line perspective.
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work.
Be able to manage a diverse workload often against aggressive/crucial /legislative deadlines.
Be able to understand and interpret complex legislation.
Have practical experience of spreadsheet applications.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
