Entry Level Site Technician
Working hours: 45 hours per week
Working days, Monday - Friday (weekend/ night work when necessary)
Salary: £23,166 p/a with ability to progress through our pay banding Depending on experience.
We are looking for someone that wants a career in construction. This is a great opportunity to earn as you learn. We have a great in-house team that will ensure you have all the training you need, so no experience of Materials Testing is necessary. We are looking for an Entry Level (Trainee) Site Technicians to join our team in Billericay, however we would be happy for experienced people to also apply.
As a Site Technician, you will be happy to follow strict protocols and processes, embrace health and safety, as well as ensure all paperwork is accurate and completed on time for the client. You’ll have a willingness to learn and be client-focussed, as you will be on-site and dealing with a wide variety of people at all levels.
We require someone that is a great communicator, reliable and trustworthy. The role also needs accurate and consistent record keeping, so communication and maths skills are a must.
Day to day responsibilities
As a Construction Materials Site Technician you will be outside away from stuffy offices and be responsible for carrying out sampling and testing to stringent BS EN, ISO, ASTM and Highway Works Compliance standards. You would will also be required to give an accurate report based on the standards set.
You may be asked to stay away or work night shifts now and again which of course we pay overtime and stay away allowances for.
