Situated in the heart of the City of London, adjacent to the Barbican Centre, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama produces 13 fully staged operas, dramas and screen projects each year to fully professional standards. We are seeming an experienced Lecturer/practitioner in the field of Lighting to join the Production Arts Department in delivering our BA (Hons) in Production Arts.
The post holder will be responsible for teaching Production Lighting and Lighting Design and will have significant experience in professional theatre/live performance, programming Eos family desks, and CAD or Vectorworks, along with previous relevant teaching experience and/or a teaching qualification.
Essentially, the post holder will demonstrate an ability to work with and inspire young people.
Salary: £46,050 - £51,530 per annum pro-rata including London Weighting, depending on experience and performance.
