THE COMPANY

- Privately owned family run business
- Area of cover is 40 mile radius of Preston
- Their Heating Division turns over £4million and AC Division £1million
- 30 mobile engineers on their books (14 Admin staff & 3 Contract Managers)
- 75% of their work is within Education – universities, schools, PFI Schools, Academies.
- Other 25% in Car Show Rooms, Offices, Churches, Sheltered Housing, Fire Stations Leisure Centres.

THE JOB – Mobile Electrical Engineer – North West

My client are currently on the search for a maintenance type electrically qualified engineer with a knowledge of heating and hot water plant controls and equipment, to work on a mobile basis within the North West. Ideal candidate to be based Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, East Lancs. & surrounding.

To carry out:

- Minor electrical modifications for replacement boilers and water heaters
- Pump rewiring from 3 to single phase
- Knowledge of Heating & hot water plant controls
- Minor electrical Modifications
- Motorised valve wiring
- Associated fault finding
- General Electrical Maintenance

40 hour contracted week / Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm (30 min Lunch)

SALARY AND PACKAGE:

- Up to £19.50 / £20 Per hour (£40,560 - £41,600)
- Annual Bonus scheme
- Van & Fuel Card
- 30 mins each way Travel
- Abundance of overtime
- 1 in 10 call out = £150 standby, minimum of 2 hours per call and door 2 door. All Call outs are paid at Double time.
