Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a dedicated General Veterinary Nurse to join their dynamic nursing team on a permanent, part-time basis. With an interest in developing your clinical nursing skills, you will have the chance to work in a state-of-the-art, RCVS accredited hospital and be part of a supportive and experienced team.

Our client is equipped with cutting-edge facilities and advanced diagnostic tools, ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care. With 13 consultation rooms, 7 hospital wards, 5 theatres (expanding this year), a comprehensive imaging suite (CT, MRI & digital X-ray), 3 ultrasound rooms, an endoscopy suite, a hydrotherapy pool and treadmills, and dedicated chemo & radio-iodine treatment rooms, their facilities provide an exceptional care environment.

If you thrive on a variety of nursing duties and have a keen interest in the fascinating world of diagnostic imaging, this role is perfect for you. You will get to experience the best of both worlds as you rotate through their primary care theatre and prep, and wards for both first opinion and referral inpatients. Plus, one day a week will be dedicated to the imaging department, where you will be at the forefront of supporting with advanced diagnostic imaging for both first opinion and referral patients.

The successful candidate must be a qualified RVN, ideally with at least 1 year of post-graduate experience, as some aspects of the role involve independent work. Whilst any experience in advanced diagnostic imaging or referral work is advantageous, our client does provide comprehensive training to support your success. Any additional qualifications, such as certificates, are advantageous, and you should be able to demonstrate clinical competence in standard nursing protocols.

The Role:
•The hours of work will be 38hrs/week worked over 4 days,
•Shift times will generally sit between 7:30am-7:30pm
•Only 1:6 weekends
•There is an on-call rota for referral, at an increased hourly rate if called out.
