Pension Administrator

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Pension Administrator to join their small and friendly office based in the heart of Harrogate.

This is a full time position 9.00am- 5.00pm Monday to Friday however part time hours would be considered either 3 days a week or within school hours.

Salary is £24,000 - £28,000 p/a based on experience plus excellent benefits including life assurance, private medical cover, 25 days holiday + stats & birthday off and exam support for those wanting to progress within finance. 

Key responsibilities for Pension Administrator include:

• Checking DB calculations
• Checking pension transfer paperwork completed & statutory processes followed
• Running renewals/rebrokes for group risk schemes, producing reports for employers
• Producing annual governance reports for small DC schemes
• Understanding of winding-up a pension scheme
• Auto-enrolment & declarations to the regulator
• Speaking to insurance companies, employers and members
• Year-end reporting
• Completion of scheme returns to the regulator
• Uploading contributions to insurer
• General office admin

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous pension experience is desirable 
• Ability to check calculations of pension benefits
• Understanding of pensions regulation and legislation or willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• IT literate
