Change Manager – Finance
Salary: Up to 75,000
Location: Welwyn Garden City (hybrid working model)
About the Role: Join our client a market–leading retail company and take on the exciting opportunity to lead people change for Finance projects. As a Change Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the end–to–end change process, ensuring successful implementation and sustained benefits realisation. This position is within a growing change team within a broader Centre of Excellence, offering exposure to diverse projects impacting all facets of the organisation. Alongside delivering change, you'll contribute to maturing our Change capability, shaping methodologies, and approaches within the CoE.
Responsibilities:
- Change Analysis, Planning and Tracking: Develop and execute change management plans aligned with the Finance Change CoE Toolkit to drive behavioral change and embed new processes.
- Leadership Alignment: Guide leaders and sponsors in maintaining commitment to change initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Identify, engage, and communicate effectively with diverse partners throughout project lifecycles to develop change strategies and assess readiness.
- Change Communications: Collaborate with Internal Communications to produce timely, relevant change materials aligned with broader communication strategies.
- CoE Mobilization: Assist in building tools, templates, and approaches for the CoE, integrating project learnings into methodologies.
- Be a 'Change Agent' for the CoE: Actively promote change management within the organisation.
Requirements:
- Change Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in the role of Change Manager is essential.
- Finance or Technology Background: Background in either Finance or Technology is preferred.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Experience working in a 'set up' environment and navigating ambiguity as processes evolve.
- Change Strategy: Proven experience in defining change and engagement strategies within large organizations.
- Behavioral Change Initiatives: Experience crafting and delivering change management initiatives to embed new ways of working across broad groups of partners.
