Role: Site Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + Car/Allowance + Package (dependent on experience)
Location: Coventry
Start Date: As soon as possible
Reporting to: Project Manager
The Site Engineer role
PSR are working exlusively with a contractor who have an expanding order book of diverse civil engineering projects, as a result of this they're looking to bring in a Site Engineer to their business. As an employer, they nurture talent and have an excellent retention rate with realistic progression paths for their staff members. This is a rare opportunity for a Site Engineer who's looking to grow with a contractor who truly value their skills and expertise!
Projects the Site Engineer will cover will include; Earthmoving, Groundworks, Structures/Bridge work, Local Authority Road construction as well as other associated civil engineering projects.
As a Site Engineer you'll have
Relevant HND/Degree in a Construction/Civil Engineering field
NRSWA is advantageous
First Aid at Work
SMSTS
Track record of working on similar projects listed above
A background in any civil engineering discipline
Some of the responsibilities of the Site Engineer include
Setting out for project
Interpret and execute from construction drawings
Supervise contractors and subcontractors
Keep accurate site records and site diaries
Record ordering of plant and materials
Supervise and direct subcontractors
Produce permits, risk assessments, method statements, work package plans and task briefings
