Part-Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday
The Client:
Our client is a reputable childcare nursery, delivering quality care and exceptional experiences for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years.
The Role:
As a Play Worker , you will create a safe and nurturing environment, engage in creative play, foster children's holistic development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop daily routines addressing children's emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs.
- Execute thorough planning, meticulous observations, and comprehensive assessments with precision and care.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and professionals to enhance children's wellbeing.
- Contribute to a cohesive team delivering excellent childcare.
- Lead creative activities such as art, drama, and projects.
- Prepare nutritious snacks for school-going children.
- Understand children's developmental needs (4-13 years) and individual learning styles.
- Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to safeguarding procedures.
- Support team members' personal and professional development.
Requirements:
- Previously worked for at least 1 year as a Play Worker or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of play work principles & types.
- Minimum 1 years of nursery and childcare experience. (Preferred)
- Possess SVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in play work. (Desirable)
