We are currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy in Manchester. The ideal candidate should have diverse experience across sectors such as road and rail, industrial, residential and commercial developments. They should be adept at providing robust, technically sound, and cost-effective solutions to clients. As part of this role, you will be involved in civil design work related to foundations, slopes, retaining walls, and other geotechnical elements. You will also play a key role in assessing existing structures and designing remedial measures when necessary. Job Requirements Typically, 8+ years experience with a proven track record in geotechnical design work and experience across a range of projects, ideally gained within a consulting environment.Chartered, Incorporated or working towards chartership.Proficient in geotechnical FEM software such as FREW, ALP, PILE, SLOPE and PDisp or similarSound knowledge with CDM H&S regulations. This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer nearing chartership and looking to progress into a Senior role or alternatively a Senior Geotechnical Engineer looking for a fresh challenge.
