Job description

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the VSM around the procurement and implementation of The Havens, Recovery and Wellbeing Spaces Project. Assure timely coordination with Estates, Facilities Management, the Hospital Charity - maintaining the project implementation plan including expenditure.Supervise and coordinate activities of the Love Our Greens Spaces [LOGS] Volunteers, developing our offer to complement existing programmes.With robust record keeping and organisational skills the post holder will have regular liaison with the Project Stakeholders, escalate any delays, or issues to the VSM . Organising meeting schedules and notes, producing a monthly report on progress. Promote the project aims to develop volunteer roles that directly support and contribute to staff wellbeing, including the LOGS, health promotion, holistic therapies and staff engagement volunteer portfolio. Champion volunteering at George Eliot Hospital engaging with other Voluntary and NHS organisations to share learning and develop successful recruitment programmes. Directly assisting with recruitment and selection, delivery of local induction, volunteer supervision, coordination and coaching. Maintaining confidential, accurate volunteer operational files, documenting reviews.To be responsible for the timely collection of a range of data for the voluntary services manager for official reporting and monitoring, and evaluation. Work directly with the Voluntary Services Manager to review Volunteering recruitment literature and service fliers; provide role outlines [Activities], availability schedules and templates, recommending and influencing changes as appropriate. Attend the Weekly Team and Talent Pool meeting, to participate in discussions and reviews, receive and provide critical information relating to volunteer recruitment, volunteering projects and the wider Trust. To meet regularly with the Voluntary Services Manager to understand resourcing requirements, identify issues, actively proposing solutions.
