Location: Borough of Surrey Heath
Salary Range: £40,701.00 - £62,785.00 per year
Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced Sensory integration trained Occupational Therapist to join clients team working across two schools in Surrey Heath. This position involves working with a caseload of children aged 9 to 17 who present a wide range of emotional, social, and mental health difficulties.
Responsibilities:
Planning, delivering, and evaluating therapy treatment programmes as outlined in the child's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
Collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team and various multi-agency teams involved with children and their families.
Conducting assessments to identify individual needs and developing tailored intervention strategies.
Providing expert guidance to parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
Requirements:
Valid and recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration.
Experience working with children and adolescents with emotional, social, and mental health difficulties.
Strong understanding of the EHCP process.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary and multi-agency team.
