We’re now looking for a Pre-Prep Teaching Assistant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. The hours will run from approximately 8.30 am – 6.00 pm.

The Role

As a Pre-Prep Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers and students within our Pre-Prep department, from nursery to year two.

Supporting the educational needs of pupils, you will facilitate the implementation of Individual Educational Programmes and assist teachers with monitoring their progress.

Engaging in the social development of our pupils, you will support them with emotional and behavioural problems, to enable them to participate in activities inside and outside the classroom.

Additionally, you will:

- Support teachers in preparing classroom resources
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of pupil’s work
- Accompany pupils on educational trips
- Undertake playground and before and after school duties

About You

To be considered as a Pre-Prep Teaching Assistant, you will need:

- An NVQ level 2 in childcare or equivalent qualification
- The ability to carry out basic first aid duties
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in IT

The closing date for this role is 9th October 2023.

Interviews will be held w/c 16th October 2023.

The post will commence in January 2024.
