Compass Associates are delighted to be working on behalf of a provider who are looking for a Director of Operations. Working on behalf of the NHS as a contracted service provider of immunisation programmes in school and national influenza vaccination programmes.
The business has a very strong working connection with the NHS and continually growing off the back of increasing demand of national vaccination programmes following COVID-19. Currently operating across 54 clinic and 150 franchise location. Backed by a mid-market private equity firm, promotes the ambitions of the current senior management and puts the business in a promising position to capitalise on a fragmented European market as a buy and build platform.
Essential requirements

• Must have previous budget responsibility with budgets of £10-20 million
• Strong operational background in public funded healthcare
• Experience with bid writing and the NHS commissioning process
• Commercially strong – increasing sales through NHS partnerships
• Strong people skills, able to instil a good culture
• Within commutable distance to work on site in Hitchin, Hertfordshire 3 days a week minimum. Someone can travel in and stay overnight if needed.
• Worked previously with Local authorities, ICB's, Riviam (IT) and the schools
• Ensuring a high-quality service is provided across all contacts
• A big focus on quality of services and professionalism throughout all contacts points, whether this be customers or clients
• Report on KPIs to management
• Meeting core financial metrics
• Engaging with local stakeholders and report on KPIs
• Analyse and implement a service improvement initiative with senior management team

Package and Location

• Based in Hertfordshire up to 3 days a week and the remaining time working from home – can stay away if needed in a hotel in Hertfordshire.
• Package is between £90,000-£110,000 + 50% potential Bonus scheme
