Position Available: Sales Executive
Location: Carrington, Manchester
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm, Fridays: 8am-4.10pm)
About Us: At The Recruitment Co., we are working with a reputable company in search of a dynamic Sales Executive. Our client is a market-leading packaging business based in Carrington, Manchester. As a Sales Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the business.
Opportunity: In this role, you will have the chance to grow and develop within our market-leader. You’ll gain insights into various departments through our cross-business training program. We’re seeking a self-driven, ambitious individual with a background in tangible product sales. By leveraging your B2B sales experience, you’ll contribute to our success by delivering exceptional customer care and generating new business.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize various platforms including face-to-face meetings, telephone, email, and virtual channels for holistic sales.
- Meet with customers regularly to understand their needs and desires.
- Generate new business to support continuous growth.
- Convert prospects into customers through effective new business development.
- Participate in complex negotiations with management support.
- Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets.
- Maintain sales records and design reports for effective data utilisation.
- Exceed sales targets and generate business from new and existing customer accounts.
- Oversee customer requests, from quote follow-ups to order processing.
- Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
- Attend external sales meetings and represent the business at conferences and networking events.
- Support projects issued by senior management.
- Take a proactive sales approach and support cross-departmental synergy.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales experience with a track record of over-achieving KPIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- B2B experience, preferably in a niche selling environment.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm.
- Good planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with computer software and Microsoft Office.
- Full driving license and flexibility to travel locally and internationally.
