Maintenance Fitter / Workshop Engineer

£37,000 - £41,000 + Technical Training + Career Progression + Days Based (No Shift) +

Workshop Based, Commutable from Exeter, Cullompton, Tiverton, Taunton

Are you from a Heavy mechanical background, looking for a days based role where you will be invested in to work towards becoming the go to engineer i=with the opportunity to progress your career over time within a specialist and family run manufacturing company?

This is a great opportunity to work in a technically diverse environment, where you will work on a range of tasks with a company who invest in their staff through excellent industry training, as well as offering a great work life balance and optional additional overtime.

This family owned company are a large vegetable growing operation, looking to expand their engineering team due to continued growth and demand for their products. They have fantastic staff retention, and are looking for a highly motivated engineer to join the team in this highly autonomous position.

In this role no two days are the same; you will be responsible for a range of things, covering anything from production machinery maintenance, breakdowns, and on-site welding. You will have full autonomy and will be responsible for managing your own workload within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:
* Mechanical repair and maintenance on a range of production equipment
* Single site based, with occasional travel to other sites (vehicle provided)
* Monday- Friday Days based

The Person:
* Mechanical Maintenance/Fitter background
* Some welding skills
* Happy to work on a range of machinery
