Our client seeks a Trainee Project Manager to join their Technology & Change Team. Role Profile: As a Trainee Project Manager with Project Management Officer duties, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful execution and management of projects within the organisation. This role is designed to provide you with valuable hands-on experience in project management, while also contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Project Management Officer. Supporting the adoption of the governance framework, RAID co-ordination and management, status of projects including project plans and ensuring project documentation is accurate, complete, up to date with the required approvals. You will gain experience by managing smaller deliveries whilst having a structured path for growth, exposure to diverse projects, and a supportive environment to develop your skills and contribute to the success of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Project Management Officer. Capture minutes from meetings and circulate to the required audience. Ensure that Technology & Change Suppliers are managed in accordance with the Supplier Management Policy by proactively ensuring that reviews and corporate governance are in place. Provide QA of portfolio costs and support preparation of forecasts and estimates for approval. Support the project to ensure that all deliverables satisfy the requirements and that they adhere to the agreed governance framework. Build and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders across the business. Support project activity through the relevant organisations' frameworks, processes or methodologies. Work within the Change Management Framework and support the project to ensure that deliverables adhere to the required standard and that changes are communicated to the entire team. Champion the use of best practice frameworks, policies, tools and standards always. Build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships across the team at all levels. Trainee Project Manager. Gain experience in managing various project types, including IT projects, product launches, process improvements, and more, depending on organisational needs. Ensure that project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies are clearly articulated and regularly maintained based on the requirements set out in the Change Management Framework. Track, report and realise project benefits and takes necessary action required if benefits are affected by changes using a consistent approach. Deliver within approved budget and timescales, ensuring ongoing monitoring and reporting Manage stakeholders and other internal and external partners. Facilitating Steering and working groups. Key Skills and Experience: Educated to degree level or previous experience working within an office environment. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels including Senior Management. Organised with excellent time management and capable to adapt in a busy working environment. Self-directed and proactive with the ability and motivation to learn fast. Collaborative mindset and the ability to build positive relationships across different departments and levels of the organisation.
