Job description
The Role

We’re looking for a passionate video editor and creative with a fundamental level of technical skill, but the creative flame to think beyond your limits. Your workload will be focused on creating and editing videos for gaming focused content creators, and you’ll be working with our wider team to execute on projects and deliverables for our clients.
Daily Responsibilities
Your day to day will include working with the wider creative team to collaborate on projects and tasks, taking initiative to continually improve our standard of work and provide our clients with a best in market result. Your responsibilities could include:
- Creating and collaborating on both long and short form content for creators on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat.
- Assisting the wider team in the ideation process of ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Tackling the challenges of Photoshop to design and develop eye catching thumbnails with guidance, and training.
- Reviewing your peers work to provide constructive feedback to produce the best final product.
As part of our core team, you’ll be working independently or as a part of a small team. The ideal candidate is expected to:
- Take pride and ownership of your work and the content you’re producing.
- Independently, and as a team provide accurate time estimates for projects and tasks.
- Be able to materialise complex thoughts into deliverables.
- Contribute to briefs and specification documents for the wider team to work from.
- From time to time, be able to work under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
- Work closely with the rest of the team, seeking feedback where required. We’re looking for a person that has strong communication skills and isn’t afraid to ask for help or voice their opinion when needed.
Requirements
- A degree, relevant qualification, or industry experience in Video Production, Digital Media Production, Motion Graphics, Animation or any other related fields.
- Have existent knowledge and understanding of gaming, gaming-related content, and the YouTube/Twitch/Facebook Gaming ecosystem. Bonus points if you’re an avid, or casual gamer!
- Have good organisational skills, able to set priorities, maintain overview and perspective, while contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Cinema4D or Blender
- Experience with Element 3D
- Experience with Motion Graphics
- Above-average design skills
- Illustration skills.
