RAN Performance Specialist

Contract: 9 Months + Possible extension

Hybrid working - 1-2 days week in Reading

Must be travelling to client locations and sites across UK - Expenses will be paid for travel to site visits.

The purpose of this role is to support sale initiatives from the B2B team, assessing either directly or indirectly the level of coverage, capacity and performance in locations where a prospect customer is present.

This role provides technical leadership and guidance on RAN Performance, Coverage, Capacity and Radio Planning activities to internal stakeholders and external partners and suppliers.

You must have hands on experience in RAN testing, performance, coverage, optimisation (looking at how to improve network performance in certain areas), capacity planning and forecasting. Also, requires ATOL experience for network prediction.

Description:

• Accountable for providing technical leadership and governance to adhere and deliver against architecture, technical and business objectives.
• Develop and manage the relationship with internal stakeholder and external partners to support and deliver our requirements and the contracted outcomes to budget, time and quality.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to our partners.
• Support the technical domain lead to build and prioritise the technical and budget road-map.
• Accountable for the performance and delivery of the technical domain.

Skills Required for this role:

• Capability to physically test locations - In building and Location assessment
• Capacity management and dimensioning
• Hands on experience and technical understanding of 5G features and functionality
• Ability to articulate methodically - this is an essential soft skill required for this role
