Job description
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Partner to join our Commercial Operations Team. As a Commercial Finance Partner at Car Benefit Solutions, you will be responsible for managing and working alongside and supporting the commercial operations team in developing and maintaining budgeting and forecasting models, supported with a suite of reports specifically designed to maintain high levels of accuracy.
You will also be responsible for providing timely, accurate commercial reporting and financial models to support key stakeholders at CBS with strategic decision making and prospect clients proposals.
The salary range for this role is £45,000- £55,000 per annum DOE. Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is hybrid, which will consist of a mix of both office and home working each week, which will be dependent on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the Bespoke System Calculation Engine, including documentation and testing efficiency & accuracy enhancements
- Establishing the direction of the CBS Products, with a focus on corporate models, including GAP analysis and recommendations on a route to market
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align business plans with treasury and funding plans
- Providing commercial project analysis to support future business investment
- Enhancing, managing, and maintaining budgetary controls and sign off procedures
- Overseeing the production of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with profitability targets
- Exploring opportunities to improve budgeting and forecasting processes and developing relevant financial models
- Producing detailed commercial reports with insights, commentary, and recommendations
- Evaluating the commercial potential of new products and schemes, providing revenue/margin forecasts and sensitivity analysis
- Identifying and implementing process efficiencies and improvements
- Conducting risk management, including creating proactive measures to mitigate key client failure
- Leading a team, including conducting performance reviews and providing guidance and support

Qualifications
Essential
- Graduate (2:1 or higher) in a numerate degree
- Strong record of academic achievement
Skills, Knowledge and attributes

- Strong background in commercial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact with colleagues at all levels including senior management and directors.
- Strong analytical skills with enthusiasm for problem-solving with unyielding attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Experience of budget and forecast modelling.
- Ability to make decisions and recommendations based on commercial impact.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain high accuracy and thoroughness when executing tasks.
- Ability to design and manage robust, complex financial models.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks/deadlines simultaneously.
