Job description
Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) for Year 2 Challenging Behavior Support
Key Responsibilities:
Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one support to the student, implementing strategies to manage and address challenging behaviors while promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Behavioral Interventions: Work collaboratively with the class teacher and behaviour specialists to develop and implement effective behavioral interventions, tailored to the unique needs of the student.
Structured Environment: Establish and maintain a structured and consistent learning environment to support the student in managing their behavior and fostering a sense of security.
Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and regular communication with the class teacher, parents, and any external professionals involved in the student's support. Collaborate on strategies and interventions to address challenging behaviors.
Adaptation of Resources: Modify learning materials and resources to accommodate the child's individual needs, ensuring accessibility and promoting engagement in classroom activities.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position, with working hours aligned to the school's schedule.
