About the position

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading, managing and supporting the Quality Control department, managing the Quality Management System, and working with the Departmental Managers to ensure Quality is embedded across all functions within our business. The role requires an individual with a chemistry background, ideally at degree level, experience and knowledge of classical wet analytical methods and instrumentation including GC and IR. The role provides support to the plant regarding new and existing analytical methods, lab equipment, specifications, technical issues, batch adjustments, raw materials and finished products. The Quality Manager ensures lab employees adhere to all site HSE protocols and have the proper training to perform their job, and drives continuous quality improvements for the site through establishing, using and maintaining the appropriate quality systems. The QM will also need to understand the plant chemistry and work with the Site Management Team and Technical Dept to trouble shoot potential production issues.
