Job description
As Hotel Manager you’ll lead the way in taking the business to the next level. Creating and developing high-performing, competent, and motivated teams ensuring exceptional guest experiences making us the most loved hotel brand.
Ideally, demonstrating a wealth of management experience in Hospitality, Leisure,
Retail or similar background is driven by guest service and business results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organise, supervise, and lead the daily operation.
• Ensure guest satisfaction is constantly delivered and that any comments,
complaints, and guest issues are dealt with effectively.
• Review guest satisfaction scores and trends and liaise with the Director.
• Ensure rostering, holidays, and absence are managed as per forecast requirements
and that payroll cost is always controlled.
• Manage recruitment and training & development efforts to ensure the team is
staffed in line with business requirements.
• Ensure departmental induction and training for new and existing team members to
meet the required standard of performance, ensuring that all training is recorded.
• Ensure communication with the team is seamless, making optimum use of
handovers, briefings, memos, team meetings, etc.
• Lead and support the team.
• Be a sharp, confident, and a true leader.
• Be on top of the day-to-day Operations of the hotel.
• Have a business-minded approach to drive the hotel to be the top-end Hotel in the area.
Health, Safety, and Security:
• Understand and adhere to the Health & Safety.
• Understand and adhere to the fire regulations and policy.
• Be vigilant, by reporting any accidents, hazards, and security issues.
• Attending all statutory training as & when required.
