Allwyn UK is part of Allwyn Entertainment Group – a multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, and Italy. In 2022, Allwyn was selected in a government tender as the Preferred Applicant to operate the UK’s National Lottery from February 2024.

Over the next two years we are embarking on a largescale transformation journey to build a bigger, better, and safer National Lottery that delivers more money to Good Causes. Once-in-a-lifetime opportunities exist for people from within and outside the betting and gaming industry to join us play a part in giving the National Lottery a fresh start.

Role Purpose

As a Retail Sales Executive, you will be the face of Allwyn for the National Lottery retailers within your designated territory. You will be covering the area around Kingston Upon Thames . As a Allwyn ambassador, you will build retailer advocacy through positive relationships with our retail partners and maximise the sales of the National Lottery and the return to Lottery-funded good causes.

Key Accountabilities or Duties:

This includes:

● To plan and prepare store visits within your assigned territory and proactively drive high in-store standards, deliver key messages and marketing opportunities in both journey planned visits, in conjunction with reactive sales driving initiatives.

● You will be supplied and trained on our customer records management platform to record In-store standards , as well as supporting retailers to use our self service retailer website between your visits

● You will be responsible for driving retailer advocacy and sales using store performance and sales data to identify sales opportunities and gaining retailer commitment through commercial conversations. You will become an expert in the value of The National Lottery and what it means to your retailer partners, finding ways to improve, develop and maintain sales and therefore Returns To Good Causes day to day as well as during events and promotions

● You will drive our in-store standards program by ensuring they are adhering to the 10 point in-store standards program, recording and educating the retailer of the benefit of the marketing materials being displayed correctly, keeping the Scratchcard dispenser full and to plan

● Customer Service is key, so driving retailer engagement across your territory is key

● You will also interact with your own and wider Retail Sales teams at meetings and events, drive your own development through our Retail Sales Academy and seek opportunities to expand your role within our champion network which lean into key accountabilities throughout the department

These checks include a DBS (an enhanced check, which shows convictions and conditional cautions), credit and social media checks. As part of our application process, you will be asked to identify in advance if you have spent or unspent convictions that we need to be aware of.

Should you not disclose convictions at the application stage, not pass the Fit & Proper Check process or not complete your Pre-Employment Screening then unfortunately you may not pass our probation process.
