- Fixed term contract
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (however some nights and weekend working may be required)

What will the role of a Rolling Stock Team Leader include?
The role of a Rolling Stock Team Leader includes (but is not limited to):
- The daily management of the storage team to ensure customer requests are fulfilled
- Carrying out fitter duties to ensure minimum service levels are achieved
- Management of materials and required parts stock levels
- Implementation and maintenance of safety systems, production efficiency and quality output
- Maintaining the wellbeing of relevant personnel
- Conducting probation reviews and absence reporting when required
- Implementation of customer requirements
- Producing, implementing and monitoring KPI's
- Ensuring work locations are fit for purpose and compliant
- Able to problem solve, in a wide variety of project delivery situations, against planned delivery dates/timetable deadlines
- Successful and concise communication to customers and team members
- Good IT skills in all aspects of MS Office
Minimum Experience & Qualifications for Rolling Stock Team Leader:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
- NVQ Level 3 in Traction and Rolling Stick or recognised apprenticeship
- Driving licence and car
- Previous experience or involvement in rail vehicle maintenance
- DMU maintenance, overhaul or fault diagnostics experience
- Understanding of Depot Operations
Understanding of applicable health, safety and environmental standards and requirements, including ISO 9001 and 14001
