Position Overview: Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism within the secondary school setting. This position requires a candidate with a passion for working with SEND learners. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with autism.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to implement and adapt learning strategies.
* Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students with autism.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.

Qualifications and Skills

* Experience working with young people in SEND is desirable but not required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
