Quality Assurance – Distribution (Hybrid)

Location – Sussex (Hybrid working available with a minimum of 3 days on site per week)
Our client is a leading provider of Biological samples for the Life Science industry. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced quality assurance professional to join the company to promote quality assurance and process improvement across their UK and EU distribution facilities.
This role will cover a UK and EU site so will require occasional travel to Europe
The role:
As a QA Manager you will facilitate, support and update the current ISO9001:2015 quality management system (QMS). You will look to achieve quality objectives and support ISO certification across the UK and EU distribution sites, provide continuous improvement of quality process and support internal audit processes.
·Development and maintenance of QMS
·Act as primary point of contact for distribution quality and audit activities
·Manage CAPA and non-conformance investigations
·Act as designated individual for Human Tissue Act (HTA) research license
·Promote quality harmonisation practices UK and EU business
Suitable applicants:
·Prior experience within a QA management role supporting distribution, warehouse and logistics
·Thorough understanding of ISO9001:2015 and Human Tissue Act
·Experience managing internal quality systems
·Experience working with NCR and CAPA investigations
·Strong communication skills
·Educated to BSc in a Biological Sciences discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
