Quality Engineer
Based in the Lisburn area my client is a successful international manufacturing / engineering company who manufacture products for the global market. They are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer who will develop relationships with their customers and work proactively to provide a quality product. On offer is a salary of £33,000 - £38,000, market leading holidays, pension 6%, healthcare, life assurance, sick pay and long term promotional prospects and an early finish on Fridays.
Role - Quality Engineer
· Understand the customer’s quality expectations and monitor the department’s ability to meet them.
· Understand the customer’s standards and how they affect the internal quality standards which the processes must meet.
· Set up systems to monitor the department’s internal quality performance. Monitor this performance and implement the action plans that aim to improve it.

· Ensure that procedures and work instructions used, enable the department’s processes to achieve the required quality standard.
· Conduct audits on the processes to ensure all process parameters are within specified limits.
· Identify areas of the processes which need improving and participate in the elaboration of the action plan.
· Liaise with process engineers and relevant production personnel to ensure quality delivery to customer.
· Monitor, analyse and regularly report on scrap figures and trends. Manage scrap reduction initiatives.
Person - Quality Engineer
· A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar
· Recent experience of working as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment
· Experience of quality improvement techniques
