Job description
As the MEP Programme Manager (m/f/d) you will have the primary responsibility of overseeing the effective implementation of EMEA wide construction & infrastructure MEP standards for DCD. This is a management and delivery focused role, with the responsibility, but not limited to, being the DCD SME for MEP interfacing with planning, management, and execution teams. This role will be critical to the implementation of projects from end-to-end including the internal and external collaboration of project activities with project teams, suppliers, and consultants.
Your Responsibilties
- Accountable for setting DCD standards for MEP delivery across EMEA including delivery and quality expectations
- Collaborate with the NTT Pre-Construction, Construction, Design, Engineering and Commercial Teams to identify, plan and manage project execution requirements
- Work with the Operations and Scheduling teams to identify and plan mechanical, electrical and process requirements including setting standards for coordinating interfaces within live and existing systems to minimise business interruption
- Ensure that specific client project requirements relating to MEP implementation are known from project initiation tracking through quality and implementation to ensure client needs are met right first time
- Work with the team to provide timely, accurate and consistent reporting of all projects across the prescribed projects / programmes including contractual obligations
- Collaborate with Design, Construction and Legal teams to identify and report on NTTs planning for and compliance with regulatory approvals, including Building and Environmental permitting associated with the implementation of the DCD projects programme
- Clearly outline, define, and execute MEP design and construction methodologies from inception to handover, continuously seeking and implementing opportunities to learn and improve our end-to-end delivery being accountable for routine auditing of site implementation to ensure that all MEP standards are being maintained and de risking Cx and handover timelines
- Align with NTTs sales, operations, engineering, and commercial teams to continuously assess and implement value add opportunities for our existing and prospective Clients associated with defined projects
- Be accountable within the DCD team for driving and inputting into the standardized delivery of projects including engagement with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
- Working with construction team, vendors & transition mangers to ensure the smooth handover from DCD to Operations including Commissioning, Documentation & relevant statutory requirements

- Ability to work with peers in a cross-functional and collaborative working environment that can influence from the initial project stages through design and into implementation to deliver on key projects and programmes
- Detail and technical orientated professional that displays strong organization and delivery skills
- Ability to dynamically manage problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills both in planning and delivery stages of a project / programme
- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety and related regulations associated with construction project delivery
- Ability to effectively work within a team environment
- Demonstrate proven mission critical, preferably Data Centre, construction experience
- Excellent project delivery experience and skillset, with the ability to operate within a multi-cultural environment
- Solid interpersonal skills, demonstrating strong development and maintenance of stakeholder engagement
- To undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019 standard
