Our Dungeons & Dragons Marketing team is looking for an Associate Event Marketing Manager to support our event activation plans for in-store and consumer events. This is 12-month contracted position. The position is responsible for event operational support and planning for Dungeons & Dragons globally. Your work will help us to achieve our event and strategic marketing goals efficiently and optimally, as well as bring excitement and happiness to D&D fans worldwide!
What You’ll Do:
-Assist in developing experiential plans around consumer activations at conventions and stores that align with strategic marketing efforts.
-Coordinate output from various teams inside Wizards in support of events.
-Work with third party vendors to deliver event materials and experiences.
-Develop and maintain travel rosters for employees, including sending out travel notices.
-Initiate and supervise product deliveries to events.
-Provide on-site event coordination and operational support at 2-3 shows during the contracted period.
-Coordinate feedback from events and assist in building retrospective reports.
What You’ll Bring:
-1+ year of professional experience in event management.
-Affinity for games generally, and Dungeons & Dragons specifically.
-Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with all professional levels.
-Project management abilities: capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
-Take direction well and work within scope constraints.
-Well-developed verbal, written, and presentation skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
-Ability to travel to events and work on-site.
Compensation Range, USD:
$28-30/hour
