Job description

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious automotive client based in Wolverhampton.

We are seeking an experienced maintenance technician who can provide breakdown support to manufacturing areas, carry out improvements and preventative maintenance on equipment at the West Midlands plant.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A recognised maintenance qualification or equivalent experience within the Automotive Industry.
- City & Guilds L3 Electrical Technical Qualification or equivalent.
- Proven problem-solving skills using structured approach.
- Quality IT skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Experience with PLC and HMIs.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of the MIG and Spot-Welding process.
- Knowledge of Robotic Welding.
- Ideally, experience with automotive maintenance environments.

Opportunities for further training within the business will become available, however we will only pursue candidates with relevant skills and experience for this role.

Hours of work - 36 hours per week (3 shift rotation)
Hourly pay rate - £20.45ph + shift allowance
