About the company
A fast growing IT organisation (MSP), providing a vast range of IT services to their clients is looking for a IT Business Development Manager to join their expanding team.
As a BDM, you will be an IT professional who focuses on growing the business and extending the reach of their products and services to increase revenue. Your primary duties will include identifying new sales leads, driving the sales targets and achieving them, pitching the company’s products and services and building and maintaining solid relationships with new and existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets and new clients.
- Creating strategies to reach new business opportunities successfully.
- Working towards and hitting sales targets
- use of CRM tools and other Social Media platforms to scrape useful data, establish connections and identifying prospects for lead generation on a regular basis.
- Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing
- Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards achieving them
- Using all various of communication to engage with clients i.e. phone, email
Candidate Requirements
Essential Skills and personal qualities
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of self-motivation
- Extensive sales experience in IT sector with a strong sales record preferably in an MSP environment.
- Good technical knowledge particularly around cloud solutions, cyber security and Windows
- Good written and phone communication skills
- High proficiency in English; both spoken and written
- A good understanding of business and marketing principles
