Role: SEN Teaching Assistant 
Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Full Time
Pay: £80-£100 daily

SEN Teaching Assistant Role and Responsibilities:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Year 2, you will be at the heart of our school's efforts to support students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will encompass:
  1. One-on-One Support: Providing tailored support to a Year 2 student with SEN, ensuring progress and development. Child is very active and requires someone with loads of energy!
  2. Collaboration: Collaborating closely with class teachers and other staff to deliver a coordinated and inclusive approach to education.
  3. Inclusive Environment: Fostering a positive and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and celebrates their unique abilities.
  4. Resourceful Assistance: Assisting in the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources to cater to the needs of students with special educational needs.
  5. Emotional Support: Nurturing pupils social and emotional growth, promoting a supportive and understanding environment.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • SEN Experience is essential for this role
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting young learners with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude to inspire and motivate students.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
