SEN Teaching Assistant Role and Responsibilities: As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Year 2, you will be at the heart of our school's efforts to support students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- One-on-One Support: Providing tailored support to a Year 2 student with SEN, ensuring progress and development. Child is very active and requires someone with loads of energy!
- Collaboration: Collaborating closely with class teachers and other staff to deliver a coordinated and inclusive approach to education.
- Inclusive Environment: Fostering a positive and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and celebrates their unique abilities.
- Resourceful Assistance: Assisting in the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources to cater to the needs of students with special educational needs.
- Emotional Support: Nurturing pupils social and emotional growth, promoting a supportive and understanding environment.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements: - Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
- SEN Experience is essential for this role
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting young learners with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude to inspire and motivate students.
