We are currently recruiting a Chef to join our team at Monmouth School, Old Dixton road, Monmouth, NP25 3YT

⦁ Full time – 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm

What you'll be doing
- ⦁ Prepare and cook a variety of food following recipe cards
⦁ Supporting manager with stock takes and ordering
⦁ Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
⦁ Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines
⦁ Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils
⦁ Use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables and other food
⦁ Present and garnish food and portions according to guidelines
⦁ Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers and co workers
⦁ Assisting in the compilation of all shift opening and closing checklists
Experience
- Relevant culinary qualification
- DBS checks required
- Previous experience as a cook or a similar role is required
- E learning is available through our online learning system to obtain Food Safety Level 2/3 certificate
