Job description

Salary 55,000 - 60,000 GBP per year

Requirements:

- Microcontroller Programming-
PIC, ARM Atmel AVR
PCB Design-
DipTrace, Altium, Or CAD

Responsibilities:

- The Senior Electronics Design Engineer should ideally have:

10 years’ industry experience or BEng Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or the equivalent with minimum 7 years of experience

Ability to demonstrate previous product development from concept through to production

Strong experience with microcontroller programming (PIC, ARM, Atmel AVR…)

Experience with designing, developing and verifying electronic schematics

Experience with multilayer PCB Design (DipTrace, Altium, OrCAD) would be desirable

Experience with communications protocols and suitable hardware would be desirable

Low-power design experience advantageous

RF design experience advantageous

The Senior Electronics Design Engineer role will involve:

Being the main point of contact for all technical aspects from design, development, and manufacture

Being hands on with the design, build and test of products

Working to deadlines and schedules

Self-driven and results orientated

Responsible for controlling personal workload and identifying any further resource need

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a permanent, full-time, office based role in the UK, near Northampton. The candidate is required to have their own transport due to the location. The successful applicant will be expected to attend the office daily as this is NOT a remote role.

Note
This role is office based, with a certain amount of flexibility for time off when necessary, but please be aware that hybrid or remote working is not being offered.
