Security Installation Engineer

West Midlands - Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Staffordshire, Coventry, Stoke-on-Trent

£26,000-£37,000 + Company Van for Personal Use + No Callouts + Training + Progression Opportunities + Holidays

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Installation Engineer to join an established and growing family-owned business offering a competitive salary, with further overtime available, and great training opportunities through the company's CPD accreditation.

The company is renowned for the installation and maintenance of specialist security, fire, and communication systems. Due to company growth and increasing levels of demand, the safety specialist is looking to expand their valued installation team.

The field-based role includes responsibilities such as carrying out first and second fixing across a range of security systems and liaising with customers on requirements in line with company schedules. Systems regularly used are: Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, and more.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of security installation experience, the ability to complete an installation job from start to finish, and demonstrate good fault-finding understanding. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate experience in the use of specialist test equipment and hold a CSCS card.

The Role

• Completing installation jobs from start to finish
• Fault-finding and diagnosis
• Identifying a variety of different devices and cables
• Work unsupervised individually, or as part of a team

The Person

• 3+ years installation experience
• CSCS Card
• Demonstrate competent use of specialist equipment
• Ability to work at heights e.g. ladders, scaffold towers, cherry-pickers etc.
• Hold or be willing to obtain relevant industry qualifications
