We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and caring Children's Home Manager to undertake a vital role at a Childrens Home In Prestwich, Manchester. We think this could be an Amazing opportunity for the right candidate!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Childrens Home Manager to undetake a vital role at a home for children/young people aged 8-18 years with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties in Prestwich, Manchester There is an immediate start for the successful candidate!

My client is looking for a Registered Childrens Home Manager who is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for young people. If successful, you will be part of recruiting a new staff team, having the ability to play a key part in selecting your team. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a direct a team in supporting vulnerable children and young people.

No two days are ever the same, sometimes they may be challenging but they will always be positive and rewarding.

What you will need to succeed:

• Diploma Level 5 in Leadership Health and Social Care, Children and Young People, or equivalent.
• At least two years supervisor experience within a children’s home.
• Previous experience of managing a children’s home.
• Good knowledge of Ofsted regulations and legislation.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding.
• Strong, energetic leader.
• Computer literate.
• Organised and ability to multitask.
