** New Financial Controller Opportunity in Redhill for recently qualified ACA in practice **
Grafton Banks Finance is looking for a competent and credible Financial Controller to join a growing business, part of a plc, in Redhill with a £20m turnover, offering a friendly and cohesive culture. This role is a permanent Financial Controller, reporting to the Finance Director and requires an enthusiastic individual to take responsibility for a small finance team.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Contributing to the preparation of monthly reporting to the Group
Key role in ensuring compliance with legislative and statutory requirements
Act as point of contact for external audit team
Responsible for weekly cash flow reporting
Calculating/posting monthly journals such as deferred/accrued income and stock
Forward buys of foreign currency ($ and Euro)
Overseeing the assistant accountant.
The successful candidate will be:
A practice trained Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) looking for their first role in industry
Able to demonstrate strong core technical accounting knowledge - UK GAAP legislation and statutory requirements
Ambitious and eager to learn and progress.
Able to commute to Redhill offices for 4 days per week (possibly 3), with 1-2 days WFH.
In return for your knowledge and experience you will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary up to £55,000 plus bonuses and benefits package.
