A Multi Academy Trust under a rapid growth plan, now is an exciting time to join the Resourcing, Learning & Development team of Central Services based in Salisbury hub, as we look to secure a Resourcing Officer to a permanent, full time position. Perhaps you are an ex-teacher looking to stay in education under a different role or existing recruitment consultant or skilled customer facing administrator? Working directly under the Resourcing, Learning & Development Manager (RLDM), your role will be to provide day to day running of resourcing campaigns across the Trust. You will have fantastic support from a nurturing team MAT-wide, as you orchestrate the full 360 recruitment process from ‘vacancy arise’ to ‘candidate start and induction’, advising on good practice to key stakeholders in line with KCSIE and Safer Recruitment. A busy role, where flexibility and organisation skills at pace and with accuracy are pivotal. You will be representing the Brunel brand in all that you do – welcoming potential talent via early engagement all the way through to the beginnings of their new career within our organisation - so excellent customer service is key. You will meet and build professional relationships with all existing and onboarding EPs to Brunel as well as external suppliers; so, having your own access to drive is a requirement as you will need to visit sites from time to time (expenses support is offered).

Some of the key fields you will be responsible for include: Write and manage vacancy advertisements and respond to communications from candidates Ensure the careers website and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) provides accurate information on all vacancies Manage the new starter process from candidate offer, contract to right to work checks, welcome packs and candidate scheduled programmes for induction Facilitate arrangements for candidates such as visitor parking, site tours, lunches, accommodation and reimbursement of expenses as agreed by the Education Provision (EP) leadership Build and maintain agency relationships, ensuring business T&Cs are agreed by the RLDM, leading on support from agencies to fill vacancies as needed or/and supply support to schools/Education Provisions (EPs) Lead on communication with day to day enquiries (both internal and external) in a timely and efficient manner Manage incoming email queries, post and other paperwork relating to applications or interest in working with Brunel including management of the Resourcing inbox daily Your Experience Our person specification attached will contain the full areas of skills and experience, although you may not have everything desirable, there are some essential features our appointee will need to have and these include: Have minimum GCSE C+ / 4+ in Maths and English Excellent, demonstrable experience in customer service and care Experience in an office environment Knowledge of Safer Recruitment and KCSIE Recruiting expectations Be highly organised with excellent administrative skills with efficiently and often under pressure Work accurately with attention to detail Excellent communication skills, particularly in the drafting of correspondence, formal legal contracts and responding to queries Be highly proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel and ideally have experience of using databases Interview: 06.03.2024
