Position: Practice Nurse

Location: Reading

Salary : £17 - £25 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

My client is looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join their busy central GP Practice in Reading. This Practice Nurse position is perfect for someone with Primary Care experience looking to further their career, the candidate should be happy and able to work alongside other experienced clinicians such as Advanced Nurse Practitioners, General Practitioners and the wider Practice Nursing team. This position is on a permanent basis with both full and part time hours being offered.

Duties include:

• Smears
• Child Immunisations
• Vaccinations
• Wound Care
• Dressings
• Compressions
• Phlebotomy
• Spirometry
• Chronic Disease Management (diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension)
• Travel Health
