We have a very exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant for a dynamic and growing Renewable Energy company based in St Helens.

To liaise internally with all departments and employees to understand the business and relay this to the world; to ascertain excellent external contacts for content, news, and delivery of marketing to ensure our client is being received by a wide audience in a positive and professional capacity. To create content, blogs and video interviews for social media platforms, website, and other external media. Support delivery of the Marketing Strategy and long-term strategy to keep BPP relevant externally and well-informed internally. Seek out opportunities for video and photographic content related to BPP in the form of projects, people, sites etc. Keep up to date with department managers on changes in the market (and example being planning policy related to energy projects) and requesting information to create content for a wider audience (with our opinions and views). The Marketing Assistant will be working with the marketing team and the wider Balance Power team to:

• Support the marketing team to implement annual marketing communication plans and assist with day-to-day marketing activity.
• Assist in the production of marketing publications and/or campaigns to support business development.
• Responsible for creating a range of content for social media and delivering geotargeted ads.
• Creating and editing website content such as news stories, blog posts and case studies
• Assist with general website maintenance.
• Assist with writing copy for press releases.
• Assist with the admin of delivering direct mail when required.
• Assist with initial enquiries answering phone calls and monitoring shared mailboxes.
• Support with sales and marketing functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project developments and overall brand consistency.
