We are friendly, busy and motivated with an established track record of successfully delivering local and overseas projects.About Our Team:Our LSE Rail Civils Team is based in our AECOM Croydon office has an established record for successfully delivering Rail Civils projects. The team provides input to projects throughout the infrastructure lifecycle from feasibility, preliminary and detailed stage designs for new assets to inspections, assessments, maintenance and refurbishment of existing assets, with a keen eye on sustainability as part of our delivery. The projects we deliver range from standalone Access for All (AfA) commissions, through to frameworks for ongoing delivery to supporting other parts of AECOM’s business on major multidisciplinary projects. Our clients are many and varied from both the private and public sector and include the major custodians of the UK’s rail network, numerous local authorities and major Contractors.Our current projects include - NEOM HS2 Phase 2 Bushy Power Systems Upgrade - Detailed Design Southern Rail Systems Alliance GRIP 3-5 Manchester Oxford Road Station Remodelling ES2-4 Stanford - Le – Hope Station GRIP 5-8 Job Description You will be responsible for: We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys mentoring and managing others. As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in defining and influencing workplace culture. This will include regular cascading of safety briefs to their team, ensuring risk assessments are carried out for all work and safety control measures implemented as appropriate.Stakeholder relationships. You will coordinate and contribute to the local work winning and business development activities, actively developing and maintaining relationships with local government and contractor clients and stakeholders. You will be required to assist with the production of proposals for new commissions and undertake reviews of commercial proposals matched to resourcing schedulesYou will play a key role in defining and influencing the workplace culture. Qualifications Master’s degree qualification (or equivalent experience) in Civil Engineering or similar Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business Design experience in a range of civil engineering projects
