With focus on increasing customer satisfaction and optimising its resources, Metsä Wood UK has embarked on a wide range of initiatives and investments which include transforming its ERP & supply chain planning tools, standardising ways of working across its business areas and deeper collaboration with its stakeholders to increase product visibility and service.
As part of this initiative a vacancy has arisen within the Supply Chain team to support the business meeting the needs of our customers.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will deliver the following:
Provide full support toward the S&OP process and related outcomes of the monthly reviews. Ensure action points are managed through relevant stakeholder engagement.
Prepare and cascade supply chain performance reports relating to key metrics across safety, service, cost and cash.
Support the Supply Chain Management team by improving functional processes, reporting and controls.
Contribute to the development of process & activity mapping, especially in the area of new S4/HANA process flows.
What do you get to do?
Support the Supply Chain management team with monthly S&OP coordination including data analysis, material preparation, and action point follow-up with stakeholders.
Support the Supply Chain management team with weekly S&OE coordination including orderbook and inventory analysis, leading KPI review and insights on the weekly calls, and action point follow-up with stakeholders.
Ensure product master data is maintained to enable internal customers (customer service, operations, planning, procurement) to operate with the correct material information.
Ensure supply chain tools and data drivers for replenishment planning and inventory models are maintained with formal review cadences. Provide support & insight to production planning and supply planning teams based on related data trends.
Prepare, analyse, and issue supply chain performance reports including inventory dashboards and performance metrics.
Alongside the Supply Chain Development Manager contribute to the preparation, analysis and delivery of supply chain projects and initiatives focusing on cost/service balance.
What do we expect from you?
Highly numerate with ability to analyse and present insights to data. Comfortable problem solving
Well organised with ability to manage competing priorities and workloads
Comfortable working as part of a
Experience in S&OP best practice preferred
Preferred experience of SAP ERP and related supply chain software/tools
Degree in supply chain or related field, 6-sigma qualified ideal
