Job description

About The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining our leading EDI culture within EKFB, and continuing the implementation of our EDI strategy with the full support of the Senior Leadership Team.

You will work closely with the HS2 EDI Team, Project Sponsors, Procurement, Health & Safety, Communications Community Engagement and Interface Teams to drive and develop our EDI objectives. You will also work closely with the Skills, Education and Employment and Recruitment teams to ensure that we are tapping into diverse talent pools.

Taking responsibilityfor driving the on-going implementation of EKFB’s EDI strategy, and you will need to highlight any risks that could have an impact on programme andtimeline.

You will need to take responsibility for maintaining and organising reviews as appropriate for EDI related policies and procedures; EDI Policy; EDI Strategy, EDI External Verification Action Plan; EDI Training Plan; EDI Supply Chain Plan

Working closely with the procurement team to support subcontractor EDI performance, providing advice where appropriate. As well as analyse data and research current and future diversity metrics, as well as submitting data as per the client’s requirements. Stay up to date with regulatory and policy developments affecting areas of responsibility.

EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
