E-commerce Manager
Leading retailer based in Bristol has a great opportunity to join a small marketing team in the role of E-commerce Manager.
The role can be offered as remote working, HOWEVER you’d HAVE to be office based in Bristol 5 days a week for the first few weeks (at least 4 – but can be done over an 8 week period, so a week in Bristol/a week remote and so on) to get to grips with the company and the products. Then visits to the Bristol office 2 x per month, so you would need to be accessible to Bristol.
Based at the Bristol Head Office, you’ll be an experienced e-commerce specialist, ready for a new challenge and wishing to join a business which is at an exciting stage of growth and development.
You’ll be promoting fabulous products in the homes and interiors space, with a dedicated and motivated team for a really well-established business.
The main duties and responsibilities are:
Leading the responsibility for the e-commerce store(s) and online sales target(s)
Essential qualifications and/or experience:
Evidence of creating and delivering strategic growth plans resulting in strong traffic growth, improved conversion ratios and web sales. Hands on experience of creating and implementing SEO, PPC, Outreach/Link Building, Digital PR and Email marketing strategies. Experience of competitor research & gap analysis on new and emerging trends for both product and technical improvements Experience with online analysis tools (SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console or similar). Experience of CMS. Being highly computer literate – good knowledge of Microsoft Suite.Good to have include:
Retail e-commerce experience.
Scoping/roadmap for new e-commerce site including costing
Creating wireframes and launching new e-commerce site(s).
Creating, monitoring and improving paid digital advertising campaigns on Google, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
Content creation to support SEO strategies.
Confident with technology and digital channels – talking about it and making it easy to understand for a non-technical audience.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally with a Marketing Degree / CIM Certificate or Advanced Certificate
