Project Manager Overview of Position: The Project Manager is responsible for successful delivery of all elements of the Projects, to specified levels of time, budget and quality. This will include (not limited to) implementation, development of existing projects planned and overall delivery for the Project. This role will cover a wide range of tasks based on the project requirements. This role will represent Speedcast and will interact with a variety of customers in various sectors.

Responsibilities:

1. Drive the Project execution and support all administrative tasks associated with projects.
2. Anticipate, manage, mitigate risks and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project.
3. Liaise with the Global Supply Chain group in the procurement and logistics of equipment and services.
4. Manage relationship with the customer and define expectations.
5. Transition to the Speedcast support team to enable ongoing support for customer services after Go Live.
6. Complete all project closure activities, including customer sign-off and billing initiation.
7. Develop and manage project documentation (general and project/customer specific).
8. Coordinate with Project, System, Sales and Field Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Support center teams as required to implement projects.
9. Manage and report the Profit & Loss analysis of the project.
10. Identify and resolve conflicts, misinterpretations and/or misunderstandings with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
11. Identify changes in project scope and manage the process of internal review and contract variation.
12. Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company HSE policies and procedures.
13. Champion the Speedcast values underpinning behaviors in all interactions.

Requirements:

1. Five years hands on experience, managing multiple projects.
2. Industry Certification: PRINCE2, PMI PMP, or equivalent.
3. Solid PC skills including usage of the full MS Office Suite

Preferred Skills: ITIL certification. Minimum of five years of Information and Communication Telecommunication or Satellite communication industry experience. Demonstrated Stakeholder Engagement and Management. Excellent communicator and collaborator. Strong negotiation skills. Strong organization, tracking, follow-up and analytical skills. Communicates clearly, both verbally and written. Collaborates / Alignment with teams with different focus and priorities. Ability to think outside the box. Apply flexibility where required and within limits. Excellent time management skills. Understanding of digital satellite network architectures, mobility services, VSAT platforms. Understanding of basic concepts of IP networking, VOIP and QoS.
